Building a new digital function to increase sales

Context

Olive Jar was engaged by the Chief Digital Officer at a luxury fashion retailer to build a brand-new, specialist, digital function that would support them in bringing the company a greater deal of the luxury fashion market share.  

Challenge

Olive Jar was tasked with providing resources to support the client in creating an improved e-commerce platform and overall digital strategy to increase sales, while increasing specialisation within their digital team throughout. 

They also required additional client services staff and technical resources to work on their new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution, which would underpin their operational ability to match the demand from their improved digital sales strategy.

Outcomes

Olive Jar became the retailer's main resourcing partner for all its head office requirements. We placed over 25 people within its digital team within 12 months, supporting in reshaping its digital strategy and building the new e-commerce platform. We supplied roles such as:
